Easily add pop-up dialogs to your game or software.

Why to use this and not the "show_message_async" or similar functions?

  1. "show_message_async" is for debugging and testing use only.

  2. If in full screen, "show_message_async" function will minimize the game window (this asset will not minimize it).

  3. You can adapt this to your game's style.


  • Pop-up dialogs with text and an "next" or "ok" button.

  • Pop-up dialogs with a question and "yes" and "no" buttons.

  • You can assign a function to the "yes" button.

  • You can change the style (sprite, font, ect.).

  • Works with mouse, keyboard and controller

This update simplifies the asset (now only one layer is necessary instead of 2) and fixes a bug.

  • Changed Draw GUI event to Draw GUI End in button_ok, button_no & button_yes

  • Removed hud2 layer

  • Added normal draw events to all objects to prevent a "duplicate" bug
