Description
GMDebug is a browser-based debugging interface for GameMaker Studio 2, aimed at making it easy to inspect datastructures and variables while developing your game. GMDebug can inspect:
- Instances in a room
- Global variables
- Instance variables
- Instance builtins
- Datastructures
- Buffers
- Surfaces
To use:
1. install the extension in your project
2. drag the gmdebug_handler
into your room
3. run the game
4. open a browser and navigate to the GMDebug website.
GMDebug will connect to its counterpart in the game and you can start inspecting your instances and variables
To uninstall or update:
1. remove scripts in folders: gmws
, jsonrpc
and gmdebug
2. remove objects in folder gmdebug
You can now upgrade by re-installing the latest version of the asset
